Abstract: Development is far from underdevelopment. Social development is continuous phenomena. Social development mainly occurs in social and economic aspects. Different society has different speed of development. It depends on the emerging environmental factor. Jagatra Devi -9, Syangja has been changed rapidly. The people of the village have lots of employment opportunity. The socio-economic development due to employment opportunity is research matter. 2. Statement of Problem How does the employment opportunity link to the economic strength and social behavior of the people? How do people interact with other and adopt changes due to revenue from job? How does rapid development occur due to employment opportunity? The finding of the above queries in respect to people of Jagatradevi -9 Lalyang Syangja could be the statement of the problem. 3. Objective of the Study To find the socio-economic development due to employment opportunity. To analyze the present socio-economic condition of the village. To find out the weaknesses on socio-economic development of the village. 4. Research Method It includes the rational of the study area, research design, universe and sampling, nature and sources of data, data collection techniques and data analysis procedure. Total Household in ward is 107. The ward no 9 is defined as the study universe. Only Matured person i.e. age group 18 to 75 years were selected for study. Among 664 Population only 60 persons X were selected the respondents. The systematic random Sampling of 20 households were selected in which 60 persons were interviewed. Data Collection Tools and Techniques Primary data Secondary data Case Study 5. Major Findings The majority of the castes are Brahmin. Most of the respondents are the age between 19 to 29. The job opportunity, right location, running project are the major cause of economic development. Most of the youth have gone abroad for job. The people of Lalyang have no scarcity of daily life needs. They are saving money for future. They have very limited access in government job. They don't have secured carrier of life. Fewer people are taking part in social meeting and programe. Social relation among people is becoming weak day by day. 6. Conclusions Increasing employment opportunity has created strong economic status of the villagers of Lalyang, Syangja. They have improving their life style. Structures of the surroundings are changed radically. Temporary job attraction is seen rather than permanent job. They have acquiring land and building. They have saving the balance. They have spent more money for physical goods and service. Children are not getting full support of parents.
