Abstract: This research on 'Role of Resource Center to Promote Quality Education in Community Schools' of Nepaledanda Resource Center in Bhojpuir district. The main objectives to carry out this research are to indentify the role of RC in promoting students' achievement, to analyze the role of RC in promoting quality education, to assess issues and problems related to quality education with a focus on RC and to suggest making the role of RC more effective. The RP of the resource center three primary level head teachers from sheer primary schools three primary level incharges from lower secondary or secondary level attached schools, five SMC presidents and sixteen other head teachers have been included in this research. It is the sample size. Selection of the RP and the sixteen head teachers (for focal group discussion) is purposeful and others were selected through random sampling. The main findings of this research are the learning outcome of community based schools' grade five students is poor, below 50% almost in every subject, the RC works as bridge to join schools to the district education office and it conducts some programmes such as short term teacher training, student oriented programme as well as guidance and counseling to promote quality education, it has many things to do in the future. It should start clinical supervision and action research and needs to increase its supervision frequency schedule.
