Abstract: The study has entitled"Sports Facilities and Their Management among Community-Run Secondary Schools in Parbat District”.It has conducted in Parbat district, GandakiProvince, Nepal. The objectives of this study were to explore the present status of sports facilities in the community schools and to identify the management aspect of different sports facilities in government run secondary schools. This research design was completely based on descriptive design. For these respondents, nine principals of nine secondary schools, nine HPE teachers and ten students in each school have taken through multi stage sampling methods. Hence, altogether 108respondents were taken in this research study. The questionnaire and checklist have applied as tools of this study. This research has found that there are not adequate facilities for sports in secondary schools. Despite having fewer facilities, management system was good. In some schools, the school teachers haven’t given preferences to the sports which areessential for development aspects of students. Physical education and sports are essential subjects to all people. Furthermore, these are possession for trained physical teachers. Likewise, very less area of land from the school was found to be separated for sports where attractive playground cannot be made. Similarly, volleyball court, library and toilet facilities were found to be present in all schools and cricket ground, basketball court, and badminton court were found to be absent in all the schools. Moreover, it has found that respondents’ schools have not given much priority to the international sports and matches. Likewise, it has found that these investment budgets by the government have not spend in sports sectors only, also the main problem was seen to be the lack of proper playground and lack of trained sports teacher. The need of secondary materials for sports like buildings, changing rooms, etc., had not been managed systematically. This research has concluded that sports management system of respondents’ schools has not found satisfied.
