dc.description.abstractThis main intent of this study is to examine the financial literacy and entrepreneurial intention of management students in Tribhuvan University. It employs both descriptive and causal research designs and used a convenience sampling method for data collection. The sample 400 management students is chosen using convenience sampling technique. The data was analyzed through various statistical techniques, including regression analysis, correlation analysis, and descriptive statistics. Results indicate that management students have identified financial attitude as the important elements that significantly influence the intrapreneurial intention of management students in Tribhuvan University. The correlation analysis reveals that financial knowledge and financial attitude have significant positive association with entrepreneurial intention among management students. Likewise, spending behaviour has also significant positive association with entrepreneurial intention. Additionally, there is a significant positive correlation between spending behaviour and entrepreneurial intention. The multiple regression analysis also shows that financial knowledge has significant positive effect on entrepreneurial intention. Similarly, financial attitude has significant positive effect on entrepreneurial intention. At the meantime, spending behaviour has significant positive effect on entrepreneurial intention. Further, spending behviour have significant positive effect on entrepreneurial intention. Hence, this study concluded that the financial literacy has significant positive effect on entrepreneurial intention of management students in Tribhuvan University. The results imply that management students' entrepreneurial intention can be considerably increased by improving their financial literacy through university courses, hands-on financial training, and entrepreneurship-focused education.
