dc.description.abstractThis research paper makes an attempt to explore a concern for deep ecology in Arundhati Roy’s The God of Small Things. Due to the eco- imbalance and the environmental pollution, the whole world is under the curse of global warning. The healthy well balanced environment is the need of time. The world needs eco-friendly atmosphere for the proper growth and development, sustainability and prosperity. Roy has dealt with the subject matter with the environmental concern. In her novel, she has focused her attention on the value of eco balance and environmental balance. This paper deals with exploitation of nature beyond its limits of regeneration.
