Abstract

James Cameron’s filmAvataris based on the colonial mission in the space which represents the colonial issues and how the colonized people are dominated and exploited. Due to the superb scientific invention the studious visit on the space is regarded as a great achievement of any nation. Especially, the previous colonial nations and powerful countries are busy doing the space study. The avaricious nature of modern people ultimately leads towards the destruction of earth environment and exist of all living organisms. The colonial mission is started in order to gain more and more materialistic prosperity. While colonial project is lunched at any land the natives are rudely treated. Hence, the film,Avatarportrays that the natives of fictional land Pandora are mistreated. The colonialmission from the earth is trying to facilitate of superfluous things to Na’vi. But the natives are not tempted; they do not rupture their unity which is finally led by protagonist and they win the war. Thus, the previous colonialists are still on the practice with the help of modern equipments and weapons. The colonialism still prevails in the universe to preserve and encourage the hegemony. The intergalactic colonialism is similar with the way of past colonial mission. It is enhanced with modern equipments. The colony in any part of the universe is unjust and disgusted.
