The socialand aesthetic dimensions of their life disclosesin Maghi performance.The songs of Maghi Naach further externalize the emotion and the feeling of Tharu people’s agrarian life.In this way, MaghiNaach is more than what can be seen:it reflects and assertsthe identityand ideologyofDangura Tharu through their costume, setting, bodily movement and the pattern of Naach.
