The utilization of renewable energy sources has become imperative in the face of increasing energy demands and environmental concerns. Biogas, a versatile and sustainable energy carrier, holds significant potential as an alternative to conventional fossil fuels. This study delves into the production of biogas through the anaerobic digestion process, focusing on the synergistic interaction between duckweed and cow dung as substrates. The research aims to optimize the composition of these substrates in a batch-based production system to enhance biogas yield through continuous process. In this investigation, various proportions of duckweed (DW) and cow dung (CD) were combined to create different substrate mixtures. The batch-based production method facilitated controlled experimentation to evaluate the influence of substrate ratios on biogas generation. Parameters such as temperature, pH, total solids (TS), volatile solids (VS), and gas composition were monitored to assess the effectiveness of each mixture.en_US
