dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study is to assess the effects of merger in human resource management in sampled Nepalese commercial banks. To identify the cause-effect relationship between the dependent and independent variables the present researcherhad chosen descriptive and causal research design to conduct the presentresearch.Two commercial banks inside Kathmandu Valley who have gone throughmerger are taken with a sample size of 100. Convenience sampling wasused tocollect the data. The correlation analysis shows there is significant positive relationship between Employee Compensation and Employee Performance of employees of merged Nepalese commercial banks. The study concludes that effects of merger on human resource management can be assessed, evaluated and examinedfrom different perspectives as there are numerous factors that constitute human resource management and how it is effected after merger of Nepalese commercial banks.
