dc.description.abstract | This research work analyzes Kartik Sharma and Ravi Nirmal Sharma’s novel The Quest of the Sparrows: Explore the Joy of Freedom in the light of Joseph Campbell’s ideas of “Journey of an Archetypal Hero”. The research explores the close relationship among the entire Archetypal hero. This project depicts the spiritual journey of Swami Partibhan, the main protagonist of the novel and his followers. Partibhan’s heroic deeds, fabulous forces or supernatural power is highlighted in this study. Swami Partibhan’s journey is studied categorizing in to the three stages: Departure, Initiation, and Return based on the Joseph Campbell’s notion of, “Journey of the Archetypal Hero”. | en_US |
