Unquestionably, poor nation in this twenty first century are under the shadow of US government, the neocolonial empire. With the power of economy, America has been bossing over other poor nations. A secular Muslim having a high paying job in America abandons not only the job but also the land, the so-called dreamland, for his motherland. When he finds his identity into American abyss after scrutinizing meticulously the genealogy of neocolonialism, he resists the agent of neocolonial power. This research paper comes to the significant results that the twenty first century will be the century of resistance for poor nations. America in the name of war against terrorism is producing resistance. As love begets love, war can never beget peace, it only begets war. So the intimidating nature of America will never bring peace in the world. The paper will help to understand the underlying structure of neocolonial power and resistance and their interrelationship.en_US
