Abstract This research paper attempts to explore transnational subjectivity in relin and Mortenson's Three Cups of tea marked by the various form of simultaneity like home, family, belonging, culture and identity. Simultaneity is the situation where two things happen at the same time or simultaneously. Moreover, it is the situation of being togetherness at two places at the same time.ConsideringThree Cups of Tea, Mortenson has played the role of agency to show the simultaneity after crossing the bordersbecausehiscross-border passage of life from America to Pakistan in course of his philanthropic mission embodieshim to go simultaneously. To support my argument, I bring some of the theoretical ideas from the theory of transnationalism. It is a newly emerged theory since 1990s as an analytical tool that studies the relationship across cross border.Transnationalism refers to the ties and connection across borders. Thus, I try to analyze this autobiographical memoir from the lens of transnationalism that deals with the issues of cross borders in the age of globalization.
