Abstract
Nabokov's Lolitais a portrait of pedophilia which fits the sexually obsessed
and psychologically depressed perverts for its main character. Humbert Humbert,
Clare Quilty and Gaston Godin are all the pedophiliac characters in Naboko's Lolita.
Lolita highlights the social pedophiles and the bad outcome it brings. The pedophiliac
males exploit the girl child as well as young boys to fulfill their unrequited sexual
desires. The pedophiles like Humbert are obsessed with the nymphets--a young girl
who is sexually attracted--and to fulfill their desires marring the social, moral,
cultural and religious values.
