| dc.description.abstract | The present study entitled "Teachers' Perception on Immediate Feedback" is anattempt to identify and findoutsecondary levelEnglish teachers' perception onimmediate feedback who are teaching in Kathmandu district and suggest somepedagogical implications. Inorder to collect the data, the primary and secondarysourceswere used. Forty English teachers teaching atsecondarylevel inKathmandudistrictwereinvolvedas informants in this study.I purposivelyselected some secondary schools and teachers. The required information wascollected following purposive non-random sampling.The main tool for datacollection was the questionnaire. The participants were requested to help me byresponding to the questionnaire. The raw data obtained from them were analyzedand interpreted descriptively as well as using simple statistical tools. After analysisand interpretation of the data itwasfound that immediate feedback is very crucialin teaching learning process. It activates both the students and the teachers,negotiates meaning and accelerates learning. The presentstudyconsists of five chapters. Thefirst chapter deals with generalbackground, statement of the problem, rationaleof the study, objectives, researchquestions, significance of the study, delimitations and operational definition of thekey terms. Chapter two deals with the review of the related literature,implicationsof the review for the studytheoretical frameworkandconceptual framework.Similarly,chapter three includes design of the study, population and sample,sampling procedure, data collection tools, data collection procedure and dataanalysis and interpretation procedure. Chapter four consists of result anddiscussion. Finally, chapter five deals with summary, conclusion and implications. | en_US |
