People's movement, April 2006 was a great political movement in Nepal. It became successful because of the theatrical presence of millions of people. Cultural performances like singing, dancing, reciting poetry, carving sculpture, paintings, performing drama and the procession of musical instruments and chants have crossed their boundaries of aesthetics and merged into politics in those days. Thus the performances reached the state of politics. The study of different theatres and theatrical ideas, concepts of performance and performance theories have helped me to prove the point that the performances during the People's Movement of April 2006 had a sense and structure of politics.en_US
