dc.description.abstractThis study entitled“Effectiveness of Instructional Material on Teaching Geometry” most of teachers and students think geometry is complexity for teaching and learning.It is clear that the use of instructional material helps to achieve the good of teachinggeometry instructional materials are related to the objective of compare the achievement of taught by using instructional materials and without instructional materials and find out the effectiveness of instructional materials on teaching geometry at secondary level. The design of the study was pretest-posttestdesign. It is an experimental research in order to fulfill these objectives the researcher selected one schoolrandomly in Rasuwa district. From the school 32 students were selected from class X for sample of the study and it is dividedinto two groups each groups have 16/16 students. The experimental group and control group were determined by tossing a coin. Both experimental and control groups thought by researcher himself on the topic geometry at grad X. The experimental group was by using different instructional materials and control group was thought without using instructional materials pre- test was administrated before the experiment started. The experiment runs for the duration of 15 days. After 15 days a post-test was administered on both groups and the mean score was calculated. The difference in mean achievement score are tested by using t-test at 0.05 levels of significance. Finally,the researcher concluded that the achievement of students of experimental group is better than the achievements of control group. So, geometry teaching by using different instructional materials causes better achievementthan teaching without using instructional materials.en_US
