dc.description.abstractAt present time, Information is one of the most important resource with which companies could operate smoothly. Disclosed information has an important role for running business successfully. On the basis of information released by the listed companies, shareholders are able to make rational decisions on whether to invest or not. It is the right of shareholders to be informed thoroughly about the regular transactions of the company. On the other hand it is the major responsibility of those listed companies to inform the shareholders on their current situation. Regular flow of information helps to win the trust of investors and in turn it helps to increase the goodwill of the company. This study is the result of cooperation and support of many people. First of all I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to my thesis supervisors Prof. Kamal Deep Dhakal, Ph.D and Manoj Bhattarai of Shanker Dev Campus for their effective guidance, valuable suggestions, critical comments and continuous cooperation.
