Interpretative research design was followed to complete this study. The respondents for this research were selected by using non random sampling procedure. The primary data were collected from four primary level teachers of two different schools of Kathmandu valley. In-depth interview and classroom observation were the main tools for data collection. Collected data were analyzed in descriptive and qualitative way. The major finding of this study was that EMI implementation in public schools without prior planning was not only challenging but also taking risk of students' future. It was also found that everyone was aware of benefits of EMI implementation but they are waiting for the support from government which can make EMI implementation effective, fruitful and productive. Likewise, I found numerous outputs and most of them are not in the right track for providing quality education. EMI implemented public schools are not providing education in English medium. The teachers are not using English as a medium of instruction inside the classroom. It was found that there was the urgent need of teacher training for EMI implementation, availability of EMI related teaching materials, teacher's guide in English medium.
