dc.description.abstractHuman resource planning plays a pivotal role in shaping organizational performance, and its significance is increasingly recognized across various industries. In the context of Nepal Telecom, understanding how human resource planning practices influence organizational performance is crucial for sustainable growth and competitiveness. This study aims to investigate the impact of human resource planning practices, specifically effective workforce planning, transparent recruitment and selection, and training and development, on organizational performance (customer satisfaction and high employee productivity) of Nepal Telecom. This study utilizes a stratified sampling technique to collect data from 400 employees of Nepal Telecom. To examine the relationships between these practices and organizational performance are conducted descriptive analysis, correlation and regression analysis for testing of hypothesis. The findings reveal that effective workforce planning has no significant relationship with customer satisfaction and high employee productivity, whereas transparent recruitment and selection, has positive impact on customer satisfaction with B=.000 at 1% level of significance and it has negative impact on high employee productivity with B=.053 at 5% level of significance. Further, comprehensive training and development has positive and strong impact on both of the variables of organizational performance consisting customer satisfaction and high employee productivity. In conclusion, this study highlights the critical role of transparent recruitment and selection processes, as well as continuous training and development efforts, in driving organizational performance within Nepal Telecom. These findings emphasize the need for strategic investment in human resource planning practices to achieve sustainable growth and competitive advantage. The implications of this study suggest that Nepal Telecom can prioritize transparent recruitment and selection procedures and invest in comprehensive training and development programs to optimize organizational performance and adapt to dynamic market conditions effectively.
