dc.description.abstract | The research is held to see how Brecht's The Caucasian Chalk Circle chops out the convention of classical dramas through the dealing of epic theatre concepts. Another significant issue that is raised in the research is, use of communist overtones to parodize Christianity by using the Christian images, assumptions and sacraments. As Brecht seems to undermine Christianity by the Christian images, assumptions and sacraments, he seems to have been questioning on the existence of God nor he sees any types of roles of the God to the individuals lives rather Brecht dramatically celebrates individualism to the world of materialism | en_US |
